Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Haworthia Europe. We specialize in rare succulents, which are shipped bare-root to ensure their safety and health during transport. Our policy is designed to comply with EU consumer protection laws while protecting the biological integrity of our plants.

1. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return)

In accordance with EU Consumer Law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase and return your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason.

2. Conditions for Returns (Live Bare-Root Plants)

Plants are perishable goods. To be eligible for a return and full refund under the 14-day right of withdrawal, the plants must be returned in their original, unaltered biological condition.

  • Unplanted and Unwatered: The plant must NOT have been potted, placed in any substrate, or hydrated/watered after delivery.
  • Bare-Root Integrity: The roots must be in the same dry, cleaned state as they were when shipped. Any signs of root trimming, chemical treatment, or moisture damage caused by the customer will void the return.
  • Health Status: The plant must be free of any pests, rot, or physical damage incurred after delivery.

Note: If a plant is returned in a condition that shows it has been improperly handled, altered, or damaged (e.g., dehydrated or sunburnt by the customer), it is no longer in its original merchantable state, and we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packaging our Haworthias. However, if your plant arrives dead or severely damaged due to shipping issues:

  • You must contact us at info@haworthiaeurope.com within 24 hours of delivery.
  • You must provide clear photos of the damaged plant and the original packaging.
  • The claim applies only to the condition of the plant at the moment of arrival.

4. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected to confirm the plant is in its original bare-root state, we will process your refund or ship a replacement within 5-7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

5. Order Cancellation

Orders can be canceled only before they have been shipped. Once a tracking number is generated and the plants have left our nursery, cancellations are no longer possible.
