Haworthia guttata is a 4cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Compact, acaulescent rosette displaying an erect to strongly incurved habit, forming a protective, cup-shaped to sub-columnar architectural cluster with dense spiral phyllotaxy.
• Leaves: Lanceolate-attenuate to subulate, fleshy and rigid, with concave to deeply canaliculate adaxial surfaces and strongly convex, carinate abaxial faces. Apices taper into sharp, acute tips terminating in persistent, flexuous amber awns. The margins and keels are armed with a dense, comb-like fringe of prominent, translucent to pinkish cartilaginous teeth.
• Texture & Windows: Non-retuse. The upper and lower surfaces are ornamented with numerous pellucid, oblong to rounded flecks arranged in longitudinal series that transmit light through the dense foliage. The epidermis is minutely scabrid and muricate, with prominent spine bases imparting a tactile, prickly rugosity.
• Color: Spectacular, intensely saturated stress pigmentation dominated by deep midnight-purple, dusky plum, and obsidian-violet tones throughout. The translucent guttate flecks and crystalline marginal spines gleam in pinkish-white relief against the dark ground tissue, crowned by straw-yellow apical bristles.
