Haworthia Maya Nishiki S-21, Cactus Nishi, Japan is a 4cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Acaulescent, star-shaped rosette displaying crisp radial symmetry. The leaves expand outward in an open, multi-tiered formation, producing a sharp, architectural star silhouette prized in elite Japanese selections.
• Leaves: Lanceolate-attenuate to narrowly deltoid, succulent, and elegantly recurved. Each leaf tapers into a long, sharply acute apex crowned with a persistent, delicate terminal awn. Margins and prominent dorsal keels are pectinate, lined with a neat comb of pellucid-white denticulate teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial leaf surfaces feature semi-pellucid, lineate fenestrations marked by fine longitudinal veins and subtle subterranean reticulation. The epidermis is smooth and glossy, allowing light to illuminate the translucent internal tissue.
• Color: An extraordinary high-contrast chimera displaying luminous ivory-white and pale cream variegation across the central growth, accented by delicate lime-green veins. Under intense light exposure, the outer leaves and flanks develop intense mahogany, chocolate-brown, and deep burgundy anthocyanin stress pigments.
