Haworthia Maya Nishiki S-21, Cactus Nishi, Japan is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Acaulescent, compact rosette exhibiting intricate radial symmetry. The recurved leaves form an architectural, multi-tiered star formation characteristic of high-grade Japanese cultivar selections.
• Leaves: Lanceolate-attenuate to deltoid-acuminate, succulent, and spreading outward before arching downward. Each leaf tapers into a slender, sharply acute apex crowned by a persistent, translucent terminal awn. Margins and prominent dorsal keels are armed with a dense, comb-like fringe of crisp, pellucid-white denticulate teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial surfaces display semi-pellucid, lineate fenestrations traversed by fine longitudinal veins and subtle cross-reticulations. The leaf cuticle is smooth and lustrous, allowing bright illumination to accentuate the transparent subterranean channels.
• Color: An attractive variegated chimera pairing olive-to-emerald green with clear longitudinal stripes of creamy-ivory and chartreuse. Under bright illumination and dry cultivation, the upper foliage and toothed margins blush with luminous salmon-pink, copper-amber, and dusty rose anthocyanin stress coloration.
