Haworthia Obtusa ‘Yamada Black’ is a 4cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Acaulescent, exceptionally compact rosette displaying refined radial symmetry. The leaves are densely spiraled into an ornate, low-domed cluster that exemplifies the classic architecture of select Japanese obtusa lines.

• Leaves: Short, plump, and clavate to broadly obovate-deltoid. Each leaf terminates in a subtly pointed apex tipped with a fine, translucent mucro. Flanks and inner leaf margins feature delicate, microscopic pellucid denticulations that catch the light against the dark epidermis.

• Texture & Windows: Broad, convex apical fenestrations display astonishing pellucid clarity, giving each leaf tip the appearance of cut crystal. Sharply defined, dark chocolate-to-viridian longitudinal striations branch and radiate across the glassy surfaces.

• Color: Deep glaucous teal and slate-green across the inner rosette, shifting into deep charcoal, dusky violet, and rich plum-black stress pigmentation on the older exterior foliage under high-intensity lighting.
