Haworthia obtusa ‘Yamada Black’ Reverse Variegated is a 3cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Compact, acaulescent, hemispherical rosette composed of tightly imbricate, spirally arranged leaves forming an exquisitely ordered, jewel-like domed crown.

• Leaves: Exceptionally turgid, bulbous, obovate to ovate-lanceolate; apex obtuse to sub-acute, terminating in a delicate, pellucid mucronate awn; margins and rounded abaxial keels are smooth to finely fringed with translucent micro-cilia.

• Texture & Windows: Vitreous, expansive apical fenestration exhibiting remarkable optical clarity and a glossy, smooth surface. A delicate network of parallel, feathered, and bifurcating opaque-white striations traverses the crystalline windows, creating a distinct, lace-like internal reticulation.

• Color: Luminous chimeral variegation displaying pale ivory, butter-yellow, and soft celadon-green sectors accented by an inner amber-peach glow. Contrasting against the dark purplish-charcoal and deep blackish-green chlorophyllous tissues of the lineage, intense illumination coaxes out subtle apricot, warm rose, and dusky bronze undertones.
