Haworthia obtusa ‘Yamada Black’ Variegated is a 3cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Compact, acaulescent, hemispherical rosette with densely imbricated, spirally arranged leaves forming a tight, symmetrical, jewel-like dome.

• Leaves: Extremely swollen, turgid, obovate to broadly ovate-lanceolate; apex obtuse to sub-acute, terminating in a fine, translucent mucro or soft terminal awn; margins and subtle abaxial keels are smooth to delicately fringed with minute, glassy cilia.

• Texture & Windows: Vitreous, expansive apical fenestration exhibiting exceptional clarity and luster, with smooth, glass-like windows occupying the upper third of each leaf. Prominent, dark emerald-green longitudinal striations and interrupted veins traverse the pellucid tissue in an orderly, radiating pattern.

• Color: Luminous reverse chimeral variegation featuring a dominant, rich jade-to-forest green ground color accented by fine, subtle pinstripes of creamy-ivory and pale lime-chartreuse. Under intense exposure and seasonal stress, the chlorophyllous tissue deepens into dusky charcoal and purplish-bronze hues characteristic of the celebrated ‘Yamada Black’ lineage.
