Haworthia pumila cv. ‘Emperor’ is an 8cm rooted specimen.
• Form: This specimen presents a robust, upright rosulate structure. The sturdy, incurving foliage demonstrates a highly structural and architectural symmetry, characteristic of premium pumila selections.
• Leaves: The leaves are strictly lanceolate to deltoid, tapering to a firm, acuminate apex. The margins and prominent abaxial keels are heavily armed with thick, cartilaginous outgrowths in place of typical denticulation.
• Texture & Windows: Lacking translucent fenestrations, the opaque epidermal surface is profoundly verrucose. It is densely ornamented with massive, raised, milky-white tubercles that coalesce into thick transverse bands and prominent spots, creating an intensely muricate, pearl-like topography.
• Color: The underlying foliage displays a dark greenish-black base. Under optimal environmental stress, the entire specimen develops a striking purplish-pink to reddish-brown pigmentation, providing a dramatic, high-contrast canvas for the brilliant white tubercular banding.
