Haworthia retusa “Syoukin” HF-9 (招金) variegated is a 6cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Open, acaulescent, star-shaped rosette displaying graceful radial symmetry. The leaves spread horizontally and recurve slightly, forming a luminous, multi-tiered specimen with an eye-catching clonal profile.
• Leaves: Lanceolate-acuminate to narrowly ovate-deltoid, tapering evenly to a slender, sharp apex tipped with a delicate terminal awn. The margins and abaxial keels are crisply defined and lined with a conspicuous comb of sharp, translucent, denticulate teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The upper leaf surfaces bear longitudinal, semi-pellucid window panels with smooth, glossy epidermis. Faint interrupted striations and watery subterranean channels run parallel along the leaves, allowing light to illuminate the translucent tissue.
• Color: A breathtaking variegated display dominated by glowing ivory, champagne, and buttercream-yellow tones. Chlorophyll-bearing bands display contrasting olive-green and chocolate-brown striping, while intense light stress transforms the foliage with dramatic carmine-red, magenta, and deep ruby-purple anthocyanin flushes.
