Haworthia emelyae var. major ‘S148’ is a 7cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Stemless, dense, multi-tiered star-shaped rosette displaying exceptional geometric symmetry with outward-spreading, recurved foliage.
• Leaves: Deltoid-lanceolate, thick and turgid, with flattened-convex retuse terminal faces that taper into elongated, sharply acuminate tips; leaf margins and abaxial keels are heavily armed with prominent, translucent-to-white ciliate-denticulate spines.
• Texture & Windows: The apical window surfaces are notably muricate and scabrid, densely studded with crystalline papillae, bristly micro-spines, and raised tubercles; beneath this frosted spination, semi-pellucid windows reveal dark longitudinal striations.
• Color: Displays breathtaking seasonal stress coloration ranging from dusky rose, copper, and carmine-red across the outer foliage to sage and olive-green at the rosette center; the dense, white surface teeth create a shimmering, frosted veil over the richly pigmented leaves.
