• Form: Compact, acaulescent rosette displaying an upright, vase-like habit with ascending, incurving foliage arranged in a dense spiral.
• Leaves: Succulent, lanceolate-attenuate to deltoid-lanceolate, erect-incurved with a prominent dorsal keel, tapering to a sharply acuminate apex tipped with a slender, desiccating awn. The lateral margins and keels are armed with a dense, pectinately arranged fringe of translucent-white, sharp triangular teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial leaf faces feature subtle, semi-pellucid lineate markings interspersed with scattered, translucent spots and minute micro-tubercles. The epidermis exhibits a finely scabrid, non-glossy texture that contrasts crisply against the glassy marginal teeth.
