Haworthia ‘Black Major x Picta Maughanii’ MS252 is a 7cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Symmetrical, acaulescent retusoid rosette composed of spirally arranged, ascending to spreading leaves displaying an architectural, starburst radial geometry.
• Leaves: Thick, succulent, deltoid to lanceolate-acuminate; the upper third is recurved into flattened to subtly convex retuse facets; apex tapers into a sharp, acute mucronate point; margins and abaxial keels are distinctly lined with fine, translucent denticulations and delicate micro-cilia.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial retuse facets feature semi-pellucid windows adorned with dense, raised, crystalline micro-papillae and verrucose asperities that yield a frosted, scabrid rugosity. Distinct longitudinal striations and branching tessellated veins run through the windows, interspersed with cloudy-white flecks inherited from its Haworthia emelyae var. major and Haworthia picta ancestry.
• Color: Saturated deep olive to dark forest-green base tissue, with prominent chocolate-brown, bronze, and purplish-charcoal stress coloration across mature leaves and window veins. Under high illumination and lean cultivation, the foliage intensifies into deep mahogany and dusky obsidian-purple hues.
