Haworthia ‘Black Major x Picta Maughanii’ MS255 is a 6cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Compact, acaulescent retusoid rosette composed of spirally arranged, closely set leaves displaying immaculate star-like radial symmetry.
• Leaves: Thick, succulent, deltoid to ovate-lanceolate; the upper third is abruptly recurved into flattened, triangular retuse facets; apex tapers to an acute, mucronate point; margins and distinct abaxial keels are armed with a neat row of minute, glassy denticulations and fine white teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial retuse facets feature semi-pellucid windows heavily encrusted with dense, raised, glassy micro-tubercles and papillae, imparting a frosted, scabrid to verrucose rugosity. Faint longitudinal striations and dark, tessellated cross-veins are visible beneath the granulated surface, reflecting its Haworthia emelyae var. major and Haworthia picta heritage.
• Color: Saturated dark olive-green to charcoal-black base coloration, with active inner leaves exhibiting deep obsidian and chocolate tones. Under strong illumination and lean cultivation, the foliage intensifies into profound purplish-black and dark bronze stress hues.
