Haworthia ‘Black Major x Picta Maughanii’ MS256 is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Compact, acaulescent retusoid rosette composed of spirally arranged, closely set leaves displaying clean, star-like radial symmetry.
• Leaves: Thick, succulent, deltoid to ovate-lanceolate; upper leaf portions are distinctly recurved into flattened, triangular retuse facets; apex tapers to an acute, mucronate tip; margins and abaxial keels are neatly lined with fine, translucent denticulations and delicate micro-cilia.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial retuse facets display semi-pellucid windows adorned with raised, crystalline micro-papillae and fine verrucose pustules, yielding a tactile, frosted rugosity. Longitudinal emerald-green striations and subtle tessellated branching veins course through the windows, interspersed with pale, cloudy-white maculae.
• Color: Luminous deep forest-green to jade base coloration, with emergent central leaves displaying fresh apple-green tones. Under elevated light intensity and reduced moisture, the foliage darkens into deep olive-bronze, chocolate-brown, and purplish-charcoal stress hues.
