Haworthia ‘Springbok x Maughanii’ MS278 is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Low, acaulescent rosette demonstrating transitional phyllotaxy between a distichous origin and a compact spiral arrangement, with robust, spreading leaves set close to the substrate level.
• Leaves: Thick, succulent, semi-terete at the base and flattening into broadly obovate, rounded-retuse to subtruncate terminal facets; apex is bluntly rounded, tipped with an obscure, minute mucro; margins are entire, smooth, and completely glabrous.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial terminal facets feature large, semi-pellucid windows with a lustrous, lightly textured surface. Deep emerald-green longitudinal striations and branching cross-veins course through the translucent windows, displaying the classic reticulated islands inherited from Haworthia springbokvlakensis.
• Color: Rich, saturated bottle-green to dark olive ground color, with glassy aquatic-green fenestration. Under elevated light intensity and seasonal moisture reduction, the foliage deepens into dark chocolate-brown and purplish-bronze stress tones.
