Haworthia pygmaea ‘S144’ is a 6cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Stemless, low-profile star-shaped rosette displaying an orderly spiral phyllotaxis with broad, retuse leaves held almost flush with the substrate.
• Leaves: Deltoid-triangular, thick and turgid; each leaf arches cleanly into a broad, flattened-convex retuse terminal face tapering to a rounded to sub-acute apex; margins are finely bordered with microscopic, translucent-white ciliolate papillae.
• Texture & Windows: The expansive apical windows are heavily frosted, densely covered in minute, raised crystalline papillae that impart a sugar-glazed, scabrid texture; beneath the frosted relief, semi-pellucid window tissue is dissected by 2 to 4 dark, longitudinal veins.
• Color: Subtle dusty sage to glaucous-green base coloration, overlaid with an iridescent silvery-white crystalline sheen across the windows, with older outer leaf tips flushing a soft terracotta and coral-pink under bright conditions.
