Haworthia Seedling S17 is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: This specimen displays a compact, acaulescent rosette with a flattened, radial symmetry. The emergent foliage is tightly imbricate, while the mature outer leaves spread gracefully outward.
• Leaves: The leaves are fleshy and broadly ovate-deltoid, forming a distinct retuse upper surface that tapers to a sub-acute apex. The margins are subtly defined by minute, whitish denticulate teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The retuse end-areas feature highly translucent fenestration adorned with prominent, pellucid maculate spots. These glossy, water-like flecks are intersected by faint, interrupted longitudinal striations, creating a beautifully clear and smooth epidermal surface devoid of heavy tuberculation.
• Color: Exhibiting a dramatic chromatic contrast, the active central core radiates a vivid, glossy lime green, which abruptly transitions into deep, opaque purplish-red and dark maroon stress pigmentation on the mature basal foliage.
