• Form: This specimen forms an open, spreading rosette of firm, turgid foliage. The architecture is somewhat flattened, displaying a star-like symmetry that exposes the highly textured leaf faces to ambient light.
• Leaves: The leaves are broadly deltoid to ovate-lanceolate, tapering to an acute apex. The margins exhibit distinct, irregular yellowish highlights, perfectly framing the dark, retuse upper surfaces.
• Texture & Windows: The upper leaf surfaces feature semi-pellucid windows traversed by prominent, dark longitudinal striations. These fenestrated zones are distinctly verrucose, adorned with scattered, raised, blister-like tubercles that impart a scabrid texture to the face.
• Color: The pigmentation offers an extraordinary contrast, featuring a vibrant emerald green core that transitions abruptly into deep plum, purplish-brown, and dark maroon stress colors on the outer foliage.
