Haworthia truncata monstrose ‘S157’ is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Stemless, sculptural rosette exhibiting an aberrant, sub-distichous to spiral arrangement with thick, spreading leaves displaying distinctive monstrose morphology.
• Leaves: Stout, fleshy, and spatulate to oblong-deltoid; blades terminate in rounded, semi-truncate apices with irregularly undulating, notched margins; epidermal rims and leaf borders are finely scabrid, lined with microscopic concolorous papillae.
• Texture & Windows: The apical windows feature a heavily muricate and pustulate texture, characterized by raised clusters of glassy micro-tubercles; semi-pellucid window tissue is incised by dark, deeply pigmented longitudinal veins that form dramatic, jagged margins along the window boundary.
• Color: Exceptional polychromatic coloration; outer foliage and leaf flanks blush in intense wine-red, crimson, and deep burgundy, contrasting with the dark charcoal-chocolate windows and a luminous emerald-green heart.
