• Form: An acaulescent, multifarious rosette exhibiting a compact spiral arrangement of stout, erect leaves adapted to a semi-geophytic growth habit.
• Leaves: Fleshy, thick, and clavate to sub-cylindrical, terminating abruptly in broad, horizontally truncate, rounded to reniform apical facets. The margins surrounding the terminal window are smooth to subtly undulate.
• Texture & Windows: The expansive apical window facets present a frosted, semi-pellucid depth, covered with microscopic, crystalline papillae that provide a finely muricate texture. Distinctive, chalky-white dendritic veins radiate from the center toward the peripheral margins, creating a bold, branching venation pattern across each facet.
• Color: Dark charcoal-black and deep chocolate-ebony along the subterranean leaf sheaths. The window facets showcase a striking transition from glaucous-grey in the younger central leaves to intense burnt-ruby, dusky rose, and wine-purple stress hues on the outer foliage.
