• Leaves: Broadly retuse-deltoid, fleshy, and thick, tapering into sharply acute, acuminate apices tipped with a tiny, delicate terminal awn. Leaf margins are distinct, acute, and lined with microscopic translucent denticulations.
• Texture & Windows: The flattened retuse facets feature an intricately frosted fenestration, densely studded with crystalline, raised micro-papillae that impart a fine muricate texture. Strongly contrasting, dark chocolate-red to deep crimson longitudinal veins divide the window face into a bold, striated, and subtly tessellated network.
