• Form: Compact, stemless rosette exhibiting exceptional star-like radial symmetry, featuring a tight spiral of neatly overlapping, recurved foliage set low to the substrate.
• Leaves: Fleshy, thick, and broadly retuse-deltoid, curving outward and tapering evenly into sharply acuminate apices terminated by a fine mucronate awn. The lateral margins are distinct and armed with fine, sharp, reddish-toothed micro-denticulations.
• Texture & Windows: The retuse window facets possess a dramatic verrucose surface, densely covered with raised, crystalline tubercles and silvery-white flecks. Longitudinal lines of dark pigmentation divide the window into subtle striated channels, creating an ornate, heavily textured relief that glistens in direct light.
• Color: Rich, saturated aubergine, deep wine-red, and blackish-purple coloration across the entire leaf body. The crystalline surface tubercles take on a pale pink to silvery-white glow against the moody, dark burgundy window facets under high light.
