Haworthia badia ‘Shuten-Doji’ is a 7cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Solitary, acaulescent rosette displaying classic, balanced radial symmetry and a low, flattened profile characteristic of elite selections derived from Haworthia badia.
• Leaves: Broadly deltoid to elongated-lanceolate, fleshy, and gracefully recurved. The leaves terminate in expansive, flattened retuse end-areas that taper into acute, sharply defined tips, bordered by smooth to faintly denticulate margins lined with microscopic, reddish teeth.
• Texture & Windows: Broad, lustrous, semi-pellucid windows featuring a smooth, satiny to subtly rugulose surface. The windows are traversed by fine, branching longitudinal veins and subtle tessellated networks, complemented by diffuse, dark chocolate-brown reticulate blotches concentrated toward the leaf bases.
• Color: Exceptionally intense seasonal pigmentation showcasing suffusions of smoky violet-mauve, dusky plum, and amethyst across the glassy facial planes. The non-retuse leaf bases and outer margins exhibit deep purplish-bronze to dark mahogany tones, accented by warm amber-ochre hues on older basal leaves.
