Haworthia groenewaldii is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: This specimen exhibits a slow-growing, compact, ground-hugging rosulate structure. The limited leaf count and spreading habit are highly characteristic of this localized and coveted taxon.
• Leaves: The foliage is broadly retuse and obovate, terminating in distinctively rounded, blunt apical tips. The leaf margins are entirely glabrous, completely lacking any denticulation or marginal spines.
• Texture & Windows: The striking, flattened apical end-areas function as prominent fenestrations. These windows are intensely maculate, adorned with raised, silvery-white tubercles and flecks that coalesce into a striking, cloudy pattern, punctuated by subtle longitudinal striations across a slightly scabrid surface.
• Color: Exhibiting profound environmental stress pigmentation, the underlying epidermal tissue displays a rich purplish-black to deep maroon hue. This dark base provides a dramatic, high-contrast canvas for the stark, milky-white tubercular markings and faint pinkish undertones within the translucent windows.
