Haworthia Obtusa ‘Yamada Black’ is a 4cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Acaulescent, dome-shaped rosette characterized by dense, spiraled imbrication. The succulent leaves are tightly packed, forming a symmetrical, compact cushion of gem-like foliage.

• Leaves: Short, plump, and clavate to broadly obovate. The apical regions are inflated and rounded, terminating in a delicate, translucent mucro. Margins are predominantly smooth and entire, with occasional microscopic denticulation along the lower keels.

• Texture & Windows: The upper leaf surfaces are dominated by expansive, highly pellucid fenestrations with a polished, glass-like finish. Distinct, dark green to bronze-pigmented longitudinal striations traverse the crystalline windows, converging neatly toward the apex.

• Color: Vibrant emerald to deep turquoise-green in active growth, accented by rich viridian venation. Under bright illumination and temperature shifts, mature outer foliage rapidly develops moody purplish-bronze to charcoal-black stress coloration.
