• Form: Compact, stemless, star-shaped rosette exhibiting precise radial symmetry, with neatly overlapping, recurved leaves hugging the substrate.
• Leaves: Fleshy, thick, and retuse-deltoid, curving outward and tapering evenly into a sharply acuminate apex tipped with a slender, pale mucronate awn. The lateral margins and dorsal keels are distinct and bordered with minute, sharp micro-denticulations.
• Texture & Windows: The retuse leaf facets present a crystalline, semi-pellucid window surface with a finely muricate texture created by dense, raised white papillae and silvery flecks. An intricate network of dark, sunken longitudinal veins and fine cross-veins creates a sophisticated tessellated pattern across each facet.
• Color: Rich, saturated dark aubergine, deep wine-purple, and blackish-chocolate baseline pigmentation. Under high light, the dense constellation of silvery-white micro-tubercles creates a sparkling contrast against the brooding, velvet-plum leaf tissue.
