Haworthia Obtusa Yamada Black is a 7cm specimen.
• Form: Acaulescent, dense rosette forming a perfect hemispherical dome of congested, ascending to incurved foliage with immaculate spiral phyllotaxis.
• Leaves: Broadly obovate to deltoid-retuse, exceptionally thick, and succulently turgid; the blades curve inward toward obtuse to rounded apices tipped with fine, translucent mucros; margins and abaxial keels are neatly fringed with miniature pellucid cilia.
• Texture & Windows: The apical halves are dominated by massive, bulging, lens-like windows of flawless pellucid transparency. Deep forest-green to blackish longitudinal striations ascend the windows, terminating at a distinct, scalloped junction against the lower opaque tissue.
• Color: Vibrant emerald to deep bottle-green matrix with a luminous lime-chartreuse core, developing brooding smoky charcoal and midnight-black stress coloration across the mature outer leaves under bright cultivation.
