Haworthia obtusa ‘Yamada Black’ Variegated is a 3cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Compact, globose to hemispherical acaulescent rosette composed of spirally arranged, tightly imbricate leaves displaying flawless radial symmetry.

• Leaves: Highly succulent, swollen and turgid, obovate to broadly ovate-deltoid; apex obtuse to sub-acute, terminating in a sharp, translucent terminal awn; margins and rounded abaxial keels are essentially smooth to minutely ciliate.

• Texture & Windows: Outstanding vitreous fenestration with lens-like clarity, featuring dome-shaped, smooth apical windows occupying the upper half of each leaf. Distinct, bifurcating, dark emerald-green longitudinal striations and interrupt veins course through the watery-pellucid tissue in an orderly radiating configuration.

• Color: Subtle chimeral variegation featuring fine, clean streaks of pale ivory and soft chartreuse traversing a rich, deep blue-green to emerald ground color. With elevated light levels and seasonal stress, the chlorophyllous tissue deepens into intense charcoal, bronze, and dusky purplish-black tones characteristic of the renowned ‘Yamada Black’ lineage.
