Haworthia retusa ‘Mulino’ is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Compact, acaulescent rosette displaying a dense, multi-tiered spiral habit with tightly imbricate foliage forming a structured, flat-topped geometric star.
• Leaves: Fleshy, broadly deltoid to ovate-triangular, and prominently retuse. The leaf ends reflex horizontally into wide, flattened to subtly convex terminal facets ending in acute, mucronate tips. The margins and keels are finely armed with a neat row of minute, whitish cartilaginous denticulations.
• Texture & Windows: The adaxial facial planes exhibit lustrous, semi-pellucid windows with a smooth, satiny to faintly rugulose epidermal texture. The fenestrations are neatly dissected by parallel, dark green longitudinal striations that guide light into the interior tissues.
• Color: Vibrant forest to emerald-green in the emergent core, transitioning under strong illumination into intense obsidian-purple, dark chocolate-brown, and dusky maroon stress tones across the exterior tiers, with warm amber highlights on older leaf tips.
