Haworthia retusa cv “MULINO” is a 5cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Acaulescent, exceptionally compact rosette exhibiting rigid radial symmetry. The leaves are congested and geometrically arranged, creating a low-profile, multi-tiered star-like silhouette characteristic of elite retuse selections.
• Leaves: Deltoid to broadly triangular, terminating in an acute, slightly incurved apex with a minute mucro. The leaf face is distinctly retuse and angled, while the margins and prominent abaxial keels are crisply defined and lined with microscopic, translucent denticulate teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The upper leaf facets feature smooth, lustrous, pellucid fenestrations. These crystalline windows are traversed by pronounced, deep green longitudinal striations and faint subterranean veins, displaying exceptional glass-like clarity under direct illumination.
• Color: Deep melanic olive to blackish-green under standard cultivation, transforming into rich mahogany, crimson, and violaceous-purple stress pigments along the leaf undersides, keels, and margins when exposed to bright light.
