• Form: This specimen forms an open, star-like rosette of spreading, recurved foliage. The architecture displays a symmetrical star habit reflecting the classic elongate badia influence, complete with an emerging inflorescence bud at the central axis.
• Leaves: The leaves are deltoid to lanceolate, featuring a retuse end-area that tapers to a sharply acuminate apex tipped with a fine spine. Both the margins and keels are finely denticulate, bordered by a sharp row of small, translucent-white teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The upper leaf surfaces feature pellucid windows traversed by an intricate reticulate pattern. Dark green to reddish-brown longitudinal striations are horizontally connected by branching veins. The fenestrated face is subtly verrucose and muricate, covered with fine crystalline papillae that create a scabrid texture to the touch.
