Haworthia splendens ‘Taj Mahal’ Variegated is a 4cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Compact, acaulescent rosette composed of spirally arranged, highly turgid leaves that form an exquisite, symmetrical, star-like architecture characteristic of choice retusoid selections.

• Leaves: Thick, fleshy, deltoid-acuminate leaves with abruptly recurved, flattened to subtly convex terminal end-areas; leaf tips terminate in a minute, acute point, while the margins are sharply defined with fine, microscopic, cartilaginous denticulations.

• Texture & Windows: The retuse leaf facets present semi-translucent fenestration extensively covered in raised, glassy, verrucose papillae that impart a frosted rugosity across the surface tissue. Beneath this crystalline texture lies a complex lattice of longitudinal, pigmented striations and subtle, tessellated cross-veins intermixed with dense, milky flecks.

• Color: Exemplary chimeral variegation displaying stark sectoral contrast, where brilliant butter-yellow and ivory bands juxtapose against a deep blackish-green ground color. Under bright cultivation conditions and moderate stress, the non-chlorophyllous sectors blush with intense shades of sunset-orange, coral, and vivid rose.
