Haworthia tessellata is an 8cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Acaulescent, low-growing rosette forming an open, star-like architectural geometry with spreading to recurved foliage arranged in disciplined spiral phyllotaxis.
• Leaves: Deltoid-lanceolate to elongate-triangular, thick, and rigidly succulent; the adaxial surface is planar to gently concave, tapering to a sharply acute apex; margins and dorsal keels are armed with a regular row of firm, whitish cartilaginous teeth.
• Texture & Windows: The upper leaf surfaces bear expansive, semi-pellucid windows showcasing an exquisite tessellated network, where dark olive longitudinal veins are bridged by horizontal cross-veins to form a clean, grid-like lattice. The abaxial epidermis is subtly scabrid and tuberculate.
• Color: Vibrant emerald to lime-green at the emergent center, shifting into fiery apricot, burnt-orange, and rich terracotta stress coloration across the mature outer leaves under bright conditions.
