Haworthia tortuosa ‘Kotengu Nishiki’ Variegated is a 4cm rooted specimen.
• Form: Erect, caulescent columnar growth habit with rigid leaves organized in a three-ranked (trifarious) to tightly spiraled arrangement, creating an architectural, multi-tiered living spire.
• Leaves: Stiff, coriaceous, triangular-lanceolate, patent to slightly recurved; adaxial face is shallowly concave, while the abaxial surface is strongly convex with an acute, prominent central keel; apex tapers into a sharply acute, pungent point; margins and keels are finely scabrid, lined with minute, rough cartilaginous denticulations.
• Texture & Windows: Entirely opaque and non-fenestrated; both adaxial and abaxial surfaces are densely studded with minute, raised, concolorous to whitish tubercles, producing an intensely tactile, muricate to verrucose rugosity. Distinct longitudinal striations run through the leaf tissue, highlighted by the variegated sectors.
• Color: Refined chimeral variegation featuring longitudinal pinstripes of creamy-ivory, pale chartreuse, and soft sulfur-yellow over dark olive to charcoal-green base tissue. Bright exposure and environmental stress induce deep copper, chocolate-bronze, and terracotta-rose coloration across the foliage.
