Haworthia comptoniana ‘Hakuganryu’ is an 8cm rooted specimen.

• Form: Acaulescent, low-profile rosette exhibiting impeccable radial symmetry and a compact, flat-topped habit characteristic of elite Japanese line-breeding within section Retusae.

• Leaves: Broadly deltoid to subcordate, turgid, and distinctly retuse. The leaf ends reflex horizontally to form wide, flattened facial planes with smooth, entire margins that taper into acute, minutely mucronate apices.

• Texture & Windows: Highly pellucid, glass-like terminal windows framed by an intricate, silvery-white to pale celadon tessellated network. The pronounced, branching longitudinal lines and connecting cross-veinlets create a striking reticulate lattice, interrupted by subtle crystalline flecks across a glossy, glabrous surface.

• Color: Vibrant emerald to rich olive-green ground tissue within the windows and active leaf centres, transitioning to muted bronze, mahogany, and dusky violet-brown stress tones along the lower leaf surfaces and outermost margins under intense illumination.
